Severe back pain, Percocet^TM (Percoset), OxyContin ^TM (Oxycodone), severe constipation are all words describing a non-hodgkins lymphoma patient of  Teresa Crouch, a home health professional from the San Francisco Bay area. Teresa  agreed to be interview about her client’s illness and pain management.

Percocet is a narcotic analgesic and is used to treat moderate to moderately severe pain. It contains a combination of two medicines - acetaminophen and oxycodone. Acetaminophen is used to reduce both pain and fever.  OxyContin is in a group of drugs called narcotic pain relievers. It is similar to morphine and is used to treat moderate to severe pain.   It is habit-forming along with Percoset.
